A force is what causes a mass to accelerate. It can be described as a push or a pull.

Centripetal Force[edit | edit source]

Centripetal force is the force exerted to make an object follow a circular path at a constant speed. It always acts at right angles to the velocity at a certain moment. In a circle, the forces all act towards the centre of the circle.
