The NSDAP, otherwise known as the Nazi Party was a right wing party from Germany between 1920 and 1945. The most famous member is Adolf Hitler, who was a member and then leader.

The NSDAP 1925-29[edit | edit source]

Change of Tactics[edit | edit source]

The Nazis said that they would not gain power by force, instead by electoral methods, gaining power legally.

The Fuhrerprinzip[edit | edit source]

The 'Hitler movement'. This meant Hitler was the undisputed master. For example, all Party members had to do the 'Heil Hitler' salute.
